What Is The World’s Largest Aircraft Engine? What Are Its Features?

What Are Its Features?

The size of the world’s largest aircraft engine is exactly the size of the fuselage of a Boeing 737. The engine, manufactured and developed by General Electric’s engineers, reduced the number of fan blades from 22 to 18 and designed them from carbon fibre composites, reducing the weight of the engine. Fuel nozzles made with 3D increase fuel economy by 10% thanks to their parts made with ceramic composite materials. With a thrust of 47.6, the GE9X gives the aircraft a higher thrust than many combat engines. Boeing thinks they can regain the money and image that the 737 MAXs lost thanks to this plane and its engine. At the same time, GE company GE9X has received more than 700 orders from leading aviation companies such as Qatar Airways, Lufthansa, and more than 300 of its 777X aircraft with a figure of more than $ 400 million.
