CIVIL AVIATION CABIN SERVICES

The main purpose of the Civil Aviation Cabin Services Program is to train personnel who can keep up with the aviation industry, have effective communication skills, strong customer relations, fast response to problems, solution-oriented, and capable of dealing with the problems they encounter. REQUIREMENTS TO BE A FLIGHT ATTENDANT

Unlike other university departments, some conditions are sought for students who will choose the civil aviation and cabin services program to be able to work as flight attendants after graduation. These conditions;

Being a citizen of the Republic of Turkey,

Good professional English (A second language is preferred.),

160 - 180 cm for female staff. to have a height of between,

170 - 190 cm for male staff. to have a height of between (height-weight must be proportional),

Not having any obstacle to flight in terms of health condition,

No criminal record,

Not having tattoos, piercings, or any scars on visible parts of the body when the flight attendants’ uniform is worn,

From the aviation companies he worked with before; Not being separated due to lack of discipline, insufficient registration, or health reasons.

FLIGHT ATTENDANT TASKS

They take a brief before the flight and applies this instruction.

It ensures that the interior parts of the aircraft such as seats and aisle armpits are cleaned before the passengers are admitted.

It counts, receives, and distributes the items to be served during the flight on the plane.

It checks simple security rules.

It counts the passengers, ensures that the seats are upright and the seat belts are tied before departure.

They read and tell the safety cards.

It deals with passengers in special situations (elderly, sick, etc.).

It provides food and beverage services.

Prepare the passengers for landing. It allows them to evacuate safely.

HOW TO BECOME A FLIGHT ATTENDANTS

Graduating from the school types specified by the companies in the application conditions (such as a high school-undergraduate-associate degree). Then, the companies' announcements are applied.

It is necessary to pay attention to the application conditions published by the companies during the application for the advertisements.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Candidates who apply for the postings and meet the announcement criteria participate in the online application, test, and interview processes. Candidates who pass these processes are offered a job by the company.

Approximately 2 months of training is given before starting work. The training includes topics such as what to do on the flight, emergencies. Candidates who successfully complete the training start to fly.
